Mrs. Somerset Fitzroy, the wife of the Public Prosecutor, to-day appeared before Mr. Williams, at the Central Pallee Court, as com- plainant in a case in which she charged Au Man (32), an amah in her employ, with the theft of two spoona, a fork, and a $10 note. The defendant pleaded not guilty.
Mrs. Fitzroy stated that she had been looking after the house after sending her "boy" away. She had become rather auspicious of the servants, and, having to go to Aberdeen in a hurry yesterday,
