Although re- duced fog services were running on the suburban railways, the signals of the automatic signalling enabled trains to continue without extensive disorganisation.
Southampton experienced clear sunshine. Croydon and Lympne Air ports were under fog belts.
Yesterday, South London ex- perienced a particularly dense fog, and Sunday traffic, which was con siderable owing to bright weather in other districts which tempted drivers to the coast, was much de- layed on tho Eastbourne, and Brighton arterial roads.--Reuter and British Wireless.
