House-Minor repairs necessary, have been carried out dur ing the year. Owing to the pro. posal to build a new Club House, as little expenditure as possible has been incurred. The House Committee drafted proposals for the new Club House, which were handed over to the building Sub-Committee appointed. by Members to attend to all arrange- ments for the new building.

Cricket Season.

Cricket. The Club experienced a most enjoyable season and was suce cessful in winning the Championship. of the Senior Division of the League. Great credit is due to the excellent form shown by our opening batsmen, who throughout the season batted very egasistently. The 2nd XI put up quite a good show, although handicapped by having to change their players fre- quently through unavoidable causes. Both teams are to be congratulated an their keenness and it is to be hoped that this spirit will be maintained.

Tennls 1930. The annual tennis tournament, although held up slightly by rain, is "ropressing favourably and will be completed by the end of Sep-i tember The entries were above

average.

Three teams were entered in the League. In the "A" Division we have! done very well, being placed second with four wins and one defeat. The "B" and "C" teams are nisa favourably placed in their respective Divisions and we congratulate the players on their keerness.

In the Mixed Doubles League we were unable to repeat our last year's success, losing two matches as well as the Shield.
