This picture, taken in a suburb of Bombay, shows a group of Indians

swearing not to touch foreign liquor..

The fine new building of the Central Bank of China in Canton, recently. opened to business. It is situated on the site of the old Central Bank which was completely gutted by fire during the "Red" upheaval in 1927.

In this picture is seen a temporary, prison in Bombay, the building having been previously used as a big apartment house. The crowds shown have come to visit those incarcerated.

Here is seen a big mass meeting of Indians in progress in Bombay. An

effigy of Gandhi is displayed on the platform.
