YACHT DISASTER.

CRITICISM OF LOOK-OUT ARRANGEMENT.

London, Aug. 24.

A verdict of accidental death from drowning, with a rider ex- pressing the opinion that there was laxity in placing constguard watches, was returned at the in- quest hell at Polruan, Cornwall, on the bodies of Commodore King and Commander Searle, the two victims of the disaster to the yacht "Islander."

The evidence showed that the coastguard watch house, from where distress signale would have been visible, was unmanned at the time of the disaster.-Reuter.
