There are many women who think they would have had a better time if they had been men.
Life would have been much less complicated, for instance, for those women who, having an absorbing interest in some study or work, are still women enough to want to marry, had the been bom men.
There are women, too, whose wide outlook and soaring ambition cause them to feel cramped without the full and free opportunity that comes to most men endowed with similar powers.
There are other women of loas atern mould who, lacking those gifts, which means so much to most wo- men, beauty and charm, think en- viously of the successful and happy men, they might be without an extra particle of either quality.
And they certainly think men have the better time!

PERSONAL LIKES & DISLIKES.
Is there anything more Bur- prising than the different manner in which the same action is inter- |preted often by different people? -
We might, perhaps, explain the act, for instance, that what strikes ono person as gonerosity is re- garded by another as an effort to [curry favour, by saying that per- sonal likes and dislikes colour our' [judgments.
But you get the same conflicting interpretations when no personal feelings are involved.
