Your Children.
[By Olive Roberts Barion.]
..
I love to watch children's hands. I am interested in all hands, but especially these of chil- dren. They seem so eager-so alive-so impatient to be doing.
I like to imagine what future lies ahead of them. Will they be musical hands, bringing out the waiting melodies of a piano, the songs of a violin, or the golden notes of a flute? Will they make plctures? Will they write books or compose operas? Perhaps they will be skilled with tools, or in manipulating the complicated in- strument boards of aircraft. They may draw the plans för skye@rap- ers, or invent new wonders in an electical laboratory, or save lives by the surgeon's knife.
What important things hands are!
