Ih local trade (ie. between places within the waters of the Colony) there is a decrease in steam-launches of 1,099 vessels and a decrease in tonnage of 106,- 785 tons.

The junk trade of the Colony, engaged in imports and exports, show a falling off, the tonnage on the imports side being 1,813,189 (as against 1,903,652 in 1928), and the tonnage on the exports. alde being 1,835,747 (as against 1,962,059 in the previous year),
Revenue and Expenditure. The total revenue during the year was $1,010,061 as against $973,283 collected in the previous year showing an increase of $36,778 or 3.64%.
