YOUTH KILLED IN A CAR CRASH.
A name on the fly-lenf of a Bible was the only means of identifica- tion of a youth killed in a motur. er rash at Torquay.
The pages of the Bible were scattered over the road, and the name was found by Mr. Terry Dur- ham, a son-in-law of Sir Leicester Harmsworth. who was staying at Torquay, and arrived on the scene just after the smash.

The dead youth, Mr. Dennis Twyford, who was about 18, was the son of a Paignton tradesman.
While avoiding another car near Torre Station, his own machine went into a long skid, and crashed into a corner wall of a side road. He was thrown against a stone wall and killed instantly.
