The hull is built of six-tenkwood planks in thickness of one inch cach, screwed and cemented together on the bread-and-butter principle, gouged and shaped according to design. It measures 76′′ over all with a beam of 9" amidship and a mean draft of 8′′- The whole model including its machinery and super structures weights approximately 30 kilograms. The armament, as it were, consists of 6-15′′ (in turrets), 8-5′,5, 6-3 pounders, 6 machine guns, 6-4% anti-aircraft guns and 4 surface torpedo tubes.It carries also a catapult aft for launching aeroplanes. The motive power is given by an electric motor of the 6 volt and 24 ampere type and by a special gear arrangement the model is propelled by a set of twin screws which is capable of turning a sped of 2,400 revolution per minute.
