Royal Navy 3 South China"
The result was achieved after extra time had been played, and in spite of the fact that South China led by 1-0 until within two minutes of normal full time. The Navy's recovery appears, on the surface, to have been a splendid performance, but the manner of their victory was most unsatisfac- tory, and South China, though themselves to blame in one way, have a grievance.

Pau Ka-lin took Mr. Young Mr. Lakey the kick and shot over the barri Fawcett If he had scored, giving South Mr. Guest China u lead of two goals, the last Mr. Chambers minute incident would have had no effect on the result.
The Navy secured the equaliser from a penalty kick awarded as the result of an incident which bore every appearance of # referee-deceiving "try-on" by Peacock. Li Tin-sang fell in attempting a clearance with Pan- cock and Patts rushing him Peacock went gracefully to earth over Li's fallen body, possibly carried forward by his impetuous rush, and cinimed a penalty. It was given and McGregor made no mistake from the spot,
The referee must have been of the opinion that a foul had occurred, but for the life of me I could not see how it could have been intentional.
However, there it is. The Navy equalised, and went on to win, thanks to another successful penalty, and a legitimate goal to follow.
Navy's Bad Shooting.
As to the game, the Navy bad a very distinct advantage territorial- ly, but they were peculiarly in- effective in front of goal, and seldom looked like scoring until the penalty was given.
