He took cccasion, however, to point out that the Government would be disappointed if the College did not turn out men who would be of practical use to Hongkong and China generally.

His Excellency, who was accom- panied by Mrs. Southorn, was greeted at the entrance of the school by Mr. E. Ralphs (Assis tant Director of Education), and Mr. A. Morris, J.P., A.P.C., (Head- master). His Excellency then in- spected # guard of honour formed by the King's College troop of Boy Scouts and Ambulance Brigade.
