VOLUNTEERS DRAW WITH
REST OF LEAGUE.
The Hongkong Valunteers loft the declaration a little too late in their match against the Rest of the League en the Club ground yesterday, and.. they had to content themselves with the best of a drawn game.
The Volunteers, who fielded a atrong eleven, scored in quite a pro- lific manner, and before applying the closure had a total of 202 for six wickets. E. J. R. Mitchell remained undefeated with a forceful 52, and F. Zimmern batted soundly and with good judgment in compiling $1. W. C. Hung was the only bowler to make any impression on the Volunteer
and
claimed three batsmen, wickets.
