TEAM SELECTED.

HONGKONG'S ELEVEN FOR

INTERPORT.

The monthly Council meeting of the Hongkong Football Association lindd, yesterday afternoon, was pre- aided over by Mr. R. Hall, supported by Mr. W. E. Hollands. (Hon. Sec.) and Mr. G. T. May (Hon. Treas,). Others present were Messrs. Wode- house, Lee, George, Smith, Comdr. Byron, Messrs. Duncan. Kodger, Oranistah, and Eastman.

After the minutes of previous meetings had been passed, Mr. Hol lands referred to several letters re ceived by the Counell, one being a protest by St. Joseph's College against the fine imposed on the Col- lege's second team for failing to turn. out against the R.A. reserves December 18, In his letter, the secretary of St. Joseph's Col. lege informed the Council that before that match was due to be played, he rent a letter to the secretary of the Association, asking permission to postpone the match, but received a reply that that could not be done.

The St. Joseph's College second team did not field a side against the ILA, reserves on December 18, with the result that a fine was imposed on them, but they thought that in fall. ing to turn out against the RA, the points for the game would be for felted. The College side did not. ex- pect to be fined.

Another letter was received from the Club de Recreio, who asked per, mission to withdraw their second team from the League. Mr. Hall said that if a team desired to with draw from the League, there was no alternative but to accept it. The Hon. Bec. was instructed to write to the Club de Recrelo, accepting their withdrawal with regret.

Shield Competition.

Entries for the Shield Competition were received from all tho nentor- teams except K.O.S.B; and the Club de Recreio.
