(a) The training of the existing force.
(b) The preparation of corrected Militia rolls, with a view to the enrolment and embodiment of the reserves without delay in case of emergency.
(c) The paper organisation of those reserves in battalions.
(d) The instruction and appointment of officers.
5. Supposing the embodiment of the whole or a part of the reserves to
be necessary; in what manner and from what source is it intended that they shall be equipped?
6. The existing railways and their capacity for the transport of troops and stores; and their liability or otherwise to interruption by an enemy.
7. Colonial naval force now existing, showing number and description of vessels, with their crews and armaments.
