How the Kaiser erected a monu- ment to a black eye given him by one of his own hayal officers is told to-day for the first time in "Recollections of Three Kaleers" (Herbert Jenkins, 10s, Od.), by an anonymous writer who served in) the royal household under three generations of Hohenzollerne.
The incident occurred on board the Kaiser's yacht Hohenzollern during a trip to. Norway, and was hushed up at the time.
