This company has just designed a new Empire model truck chassis of 40 and 50 cwt. capacity, the heavier vehicle suitable for this country, and the lighter adapted to the peculiar road conditions of Australia and other, Dominions. This new type of commercial car is capable of ranning with a load of 62 ewt 238 miles per day of 10 hours. So far, the new truck has had 150,000 miles of testing, and the com pany's factories are already turn- Ing them out in large numbers: for both the home and Dominion marketa.
