The vessels are all new, modern and up-to-date motorships of the highest lass, bullt especially for the Dutch East Indies requirements.

When all eight vessels are completed, the Bonneville, Bronxville and Sommerville will be withdrawn and put into some other service for which they are especially adapted. The service will then be maintained by the Pleasantville, Cornoville, Roseville, Grenville and Leoville.

The Bonneville, Bronxville and Sommerville are vessels of 885 long.

beam and 30'6" deep with 8,300 deadweight tons, 12,000 measurement tona. They are single screw vessels of 3,000 HP. and have a speed of 12. knots.

The other vessels are 290' long, 55' beam and 37 deep, with, 9,000 tons deadweight and 12,600 tons measure- ment. They have twin screw and have a sea speed of 13/14 knots.

Features of the Ships.
