QUEEN'S THEATRE.

"THE LION AND THE MOUSE” 'NOW SHOWING.

The Lion and the Mouse," now showing at the Queen's Theatro, is quite a good picture of its type. The theme is that of a powerful industrial magnate who deter- mines to crush a Judge when the latter decides a case against him. but "who is finally won round to at more humane.outlook when his son falls in love with the Judge'a. daughter. There are, of course, many complications before the happy denouement in reached.. whilst the story is "relieved by some happy.comedy touches.

Lionel Barrymore is seen in the role of the industrial magnate, a nart which suits him, admirably. whilst May AcAvoy údds to her laurels in the part of the Judge's daughter, with excellent support provided by William Collier, janr,, as the industrialist's son. The aeting throughout is very good.

An M.G.M. news reel and a stermaid Comedy compete a varied programme.
