With the announcement that the Nippon Yusen Kaisha' motor vessels will be completed and ready for ser vice in March, this Campany will have three new motor liners for the Orient California service in operation by the beginning of next summer.

The Chichibu Mara was originally' scheduled to sail on her maiden voyage from Yokohama to San Francisco in July 1930, bat with the necessity of having a new motor liner in service to take care of the early summer business, plans for completion were set ahead in order that the work might be finished by that time.
