ASSURANCE OF NO LACK OF

· RESERVE ASSETS. ·

In connexion with our report on Monday last of the pro- ceedings at the Hongkong Supremu Court regarding the estate of the late Mr. Loo Lim-loe, We are hated by the management of the Po Hang Bank to state that, with recourse to the estate of the deceased in Hongkong, the Bank has plenty of reserve assets, and that there is no doubt that if the depositors of the Bank are content to wait a short while, all their claims will be met in full We are also asked to point out that it was the claims of the creditors of the Pa Hang Bank which mainly mecessitated the proceedings in Hongkong, heard in Montay, to obtain the Court's permission for the application of the deceased's assets in Hongkong for the payment thereof.
