The majority of brilliant dresseя for evening wear are straight,| though the line is broken by tiers, floating panels, by a back, so- ealted, "pea-cock" train, or by a long piece of fabric attached to the natural waistline, forming part of the dress, and trailing at the side for some lengths on the floor. These side truins are, of course, lifted up and thrown over the arm when dancing.
The decolletage of the evening dress is often extreme. A very low oval or "y" back, the low square or oval front, the two-strap fine, and the one-strap with à diagonal line, are all found.
Here is an excellent design for a smart morning dress in natural Tussore, or some equally firm fabric. The full- nesa of the skirt is arranged in pleats at one side, while the belt draws in the fullness of the bodice on the opposite side. A neat turnover collar, useful patch pocket, and a tle of green and natural fou- lard complete a very desirable little toilette.
