SIX THOUSAND SINGLETS
HANDED OVER.
An application for the delivery to the complainants of 6,000 oing- lets which were seized by the police, was made by Mr. E. S. C. Brooks, before Mr. T. S. Whylo Smith at the Kowloon Magistracy this morning.
The application was the result of a raid carried out by the police at No. 1,014, Canton Road recently when a large quantity of singlets bearing the infringed trade mark | of the Tung Hing Knitting Factory were seized. The principal tenant of the floor was aummond before the Kowloon Magistrate, but was nequilted because of the prosecu- tion's belief that the singlets bo longed to two sub-tenants had disappeared.

Mr. Brooke, this morning, pro- duced copies of two local Chinese newspapers in which an advertise- ment had been inserted drawing attention to the fact that unless claims were forwarded to the Kowloon Magistracy, the singlets would be confiscated and deliver- ed to the complainant for disposal. There having been no cluíms, his Worship made an order for the delivery of the singlets to the complainants.
