It will be recalled that as a result of recent case in the Summary Court, an order was issued for the

of Chinese shipowners present at the sale, there was only one bid, the vessel being eventually, sold to Mr. Tani Pik-slan. The upset price was $43,000 while the minimum bid was 3600, Mr. Tam offered the minimum bid, and despite Mr. Lammert's ela quence, and his assurance that the vessel had a "good name on the West River, there was no further
