KOWLOON GOLF CLUB.
NEW COMMITTEE ELECTED AT ANNUAL MEETING.
The annual meeting of the Kowloon Golf Club was held at the Europeah Y.M.CA. last evening, Mr. E. Cock, the President being in the chair. Briefly reviewing the year's activities he said that with the exception of the loss of $200 made on the year the club was in a good position. The course had been kept in good condi- tion and additional drainage work had been done during the year. The greens had also been kept in good condition.

There had been a minimum of intor ference by the military authorities us- ing the course. Mr. Cock added, that before long the Committee was hop Ing to get a better approach to the club premises.

The report and accounts were adopt- ed on the proposal of the chairman, seconded by Mr. W. Paterson.
Mr. Cock and Mr. J. H. Hunt were re-elected President and Vico-Presid ent respectively. With regard to the Captaincy of the Club it was decided to offer the position to Mr. Hunt. Mr. W. Paterson was also nominated for the office and consented to act if Mr. Hunt found himself unable to do 80. Mr, 11, G. Howard was re-elected Hon. Treasurer and Mr. W. E. Orchard was elected Secretary for the ensuing year.
After a ballot the new Committee was constituted as follows-Messrs. H. Overy, A. A. Dand, D. C. Wilson, W. S. Hilller, W. M. Groven and A. T. Brailey.

Second Meeting Adjourned. An extraordinary general meeting of the club had been called to take place immediately afterwords for the purpose of making certain 'alterations to the Articles of Association of the Club. The effect of these would be to make the annual meeting evincide with the beginning of the golfing season so that a new Committes and Captain could be elected at the start of each season.
The Chairman announced that the extraordinary meeting could not be hold owing to the fact that the neces. sary quorum of thirty mombers was not present. The Articles of Asso- clation provided that in this can the meeting should be held at the same time and placé ote week later. He pointed out that one of the reasons for making ulterations to the rulen wus to make fifteen members constitute n quorum. It was difficult to get thirty members at a meeting and it had been found that the rule held up the bust- ness of the club,
