Talkoo has the great advantage water area from Mount Parker, of having an excellent catch the valley forming a
natural funnel through which the mins run direct into the main reservoir with but small wastage. The rainfall on Saturday afternoon was in 'the nature of a cloudburst, and the fall was so heavy that the. roads from Causeway Bay' to Talkoo and boyond were literally running with water. On the other side of Mount Parker the catch waters of the Tytam reservoir also gathered quite a largo per centage of the fall, but not enough to make any very appreciable effect on the available supply.
