Reliable reports from Canton this morning show. that anxiety has been revived following a sudden renewal of the Kwangst attack along the West River. It is suggested that the withdrawal on Friday was a Kwangsi ruse to induce the Canton authorities to reinforce their East River troops at the expense on those on the West River.
It appears that these movements have worked out in accordance with plan, and it is stated that the Kwangsi forces
