SEVEN CASES TO RE HEARD | CONDITIONS FOR GRANT OF

There are seven cases down for hearing at this month's Criminni Sessions which opeu at the Su preme Court at half past
Lo-morrow. The
charges in all cases relate to robberies, possession of arms and ammuni- tion and receiving stolen goods. All cases will be taken by the Puisno Judge (Mr, Justlea Wood)
Two cases are down for hearing on Thursday, the first case being one in which Pang Liu and Wong Tai-chuen are charged with having committed a robbery on January 10, 1929, with other persons un known, and to have stolen jewel- lery, including a sovereign and a half sovereign, and a total of $471 In money.
In the second case Chan Shu, Chan Kal, Lo Man and Wong Yio- fan, alias Wong Kwong, are alleged to have committed a robbery in the course of which they stole articles of jewellery, two Austras lian three penny bits and $288.10 in money. There are also charges of receiving the stolen property, while there la an additional charge against Chan Kal of being in possession of ten rounds of pistol ammunition without a licence or lawful authority.
On Friday there will be no Sessions in the morning because the judge will be altting in Sun- mary Jurisdiction dealing with the usual Friday list of Summary Court савея.
.Possession of Revolvers,
The Sessions will be resumed on Friday afternoon, when Chan Kin- shun will-face. a charge of being in possession of a revolver and five rounds of pistol ammunition without alleence or lawful nu- thority. In another ense to be heard on Friday afternoon Yan Ngnu will be charged that he, together with other person un known, committed a robbery and stole a pair of gold earrings and $16.50 in 'money.
At the conclusion of Friday's sitting the Sessions will be ad- journed until half past ten on Monday morning when a charge of robbery by two or more will he preferred against Li Kui, Lo Sui- wing, Mak Kwat and Au Wan. They are alleged to have stolen jewellery, a toothpick, a hat, two cigarette holders and $48 in money. There are also charges against
