CONCLUSION OF TRAMWAY SHARE CASE.
The trial in respect of the | alleged ferged scrip for 500 shares in the Hongkong Tramways, Ltd., was concluded at the Criminal Sessions yesterday, before the Puisne Judge (Mr. Justice Wood).
Two men were in the dock, Chan nnd Fook, aling Chun Sau-nam, Pan Pui, alias Pan Wal-nam. The first count against them was that between January 1 and 19, this year, they conspired together, with Chan, La-yat and others un known, to utter a forged valuable security purporting to be a scrip or share certificate for 500 shares In the Hongkong Tramways, Limited, knowing it to be forged and with intent to defraud.
