The New York World, in an editiorial, says that Major Segrave and others have merely succeeded in proving the possibility of driv ing on a special track epocially con- structed cars, but this is useless in a 4 car at a pace which it is too dangerous to permit. Why does not the automobile Industry accept this proof as sufficient and frown on all future exhibitions? Why does any town issue Invitations for manslaughter?-Reuter's American
