Enquiries from the naval authoritica this morning dis closed the fact that H.M.S. Moth is still aground on the submerged rock below Wuchow which she struck some days ago,

Reports from Wuchow indic- ate that the gunboat's forward deck is submerged, to a depth of some "twa: feet; whilst the stern is painting skywarde. The engine-room is free of water, and no damage has been done to the armament.

Other gunboats are standing by, and there are strong hopes of the salvage proving success- ful.

Rome, Feb. 18. Eloven soldiers have been torn to pieces by wolves in Albania.

A group of recruits, accompani- ed by two gendarmes, were march- Ing between Premett and Korliza when they were surrounded by about 50 famished wolves. Only the gendarmes were armed, and they killed seven of the wolves bo- fore their ammunition became ex- hausted.
