"HALF TIME AT THE RIGHT TIME"
Speaking at the annual confer- ence of tho, National Union of Women Teachers at Buxton re- cantly, Mr. James Graham, Direc- tor of Education for the. Gily of Leeds, recalled the fact that twen- ty years ago he had raised the cryi of "half-time at the right timo" as the best solution of the problem of educating the boy or girl who is to enter the business or industrial] world, and he stated that now, after what experience we have had of secondary education, he is more than over convinced that along! these lines lies the solution of many of our most pressing econo- mic problems.
