IT IS EASY to understand why, more than ever before in Chrysler's phenomenal career, the public is today Chrysler-wild and why even Chrysler's largest production is now just beginning to meet the demand.

In the new Chrysler "75" and " "65" an enthusiastic public recognises a new style that re styles all motor cars-à finer performance than anything that has gone before-a greater value than such prices can buy anywhere else.

Chrysler's superior engineer. ing skill and finer precision craftsmanship, again and again have literally obsoleted other types of cars,

The constantly increasing Chrysler public, with its high enthusiasm for Chrysler zest and dash, distinction and luxe ury, safety and long life, makes it easy for you to decide to. become a Chrysler owner. All Chrysler dealers welcome the opportunity of putting any Chrysler model to a test of your own selection.

This valve in operated from the driver's scat. A variety of different shaped flanges are provided so that the system can be adapted to prac tically every car. In addition to effecting the economy the device acts also as an auxiliary brake when coasting and prevents pink- ing.

SWEET RUNNING. Sugar as Motor Fuel. FRIENDLY BACTERIA.

Latest recipe for the production of power alcohol in a few tons of vegetable waste and a, flock of bacteria.

Though this sounds an unlikely method of obtaining fuel för a motor, Dr. A. C. Thaysen told a meeting of the British Association at Glasgow that he has done so,

The method is to set the right kind of bacteria to work to convert Яngarg pentoses. Pentoses' are which occur in plants, Including many vegetable waste products. They are sweet, but unsuitable for human consumption, and cannot be fermented by ordinary yeast,

"Using waste products. Dr. Thav sen and his collaborators "havó collected yields of power alcohol equal to those obtainable from potatoes, which are extensively used in some countries to mani- facture alcohol.

He stated that 20 gallons of power alcohol would be a fair average yield from ona ton of waste material,

The fact that it is difficult to Tensure the necessary smooth pro. gresa of conversion will prevent motorists from importing bacteria and setting them to work on cauli. flower leaves and potato peelings.. British authorities believe that the discovery is very important.
