FUNERAL OF MASTER HENRY PHILLIPS.

The funeral of Henry Phillips,| the oldest son of Inspector and Mrs. H. E. Phillips, of Kowloon City Police Station, who was knocked down and fatally injured by a motor bus on Monday, took place in the Protestant Cemetery at Happy Valley yesterday after- noon. The Rev. G. T. Waldegrave conducted the burial service, in the presence of a largo and sympathe tic gathering.

DECISION TO LIMIT ARMY TO SIXTY DIVISIONS.

A collision between a launch

COMMISSION TO BE GIVEN MORE MONEY.

London, Jan. 15. The Government have undertaken to ask Parliament to vote a total Rum of £5,500,000 to the Forestry Commission, on agreed annual in- falments, during ten years begin- ning April 1, this year, as compared with a sum of £3,500,000 which had been provided during the last ten years.
