In regard to the searching of the defendant, it was revealed that on his. person, was found a few Chinese banknotes of no value. These were used as wrappers 90 that they appeared on the outside of a few bundles of ordinary newspaper. The police officer, prosecuting in the case, pointed Lout that such bundles were com- monly used in the well-known -banknote trick.
