The Engines.
The machinery consists of a Twin Set of Gardner, 4-cylinder, Crude Oil Engines, developing 144 B.II.P. at normal rating. The shafting and propellers are direct driven through clutches and as the engines are of the compressed air reversing type, heavy and bulky transmission reverse gears are dispensed with. Each engine is circulating complete with its awn
