Safeguarding Act was not granted in 1925 because many other indus- tries might be prejudiced by the increased coal of iron and steel.
New Case for Steel.
The steel trade had now put ed that the low output capacity forward a new case, which show
in Individual steelworks and if was many times the actual output the output could be brought up to
to Macao where they were to de- liver a consignment of fish.
Pirates who wore hovering in the vicinity of Lautau, opened fre with small arms from a native craft, several of the shota striking the tiller but leaving the crow and passengers unhurt. They then put alongside and, having board- ed the fishing vessel, drove all those on board forward to the bow.
The victims, comprising the witness, his foki and three super- cargoes, were kept confined in the hold of the, pirate vessel. The following day, they found their own vessel had been abandoned, and that the place which they now reached was an island named Tsing Chau.
It was to another" island, known as Big Roller Islet, that the vie Lins were next taken. They were taken ashore and marooned, the chance appearance of a small. fishing bout being the fortunaté circumstance to which they owed their early rescue.
The fishing boat took the pirated crew and passengers to Macao. A report was subsequently made to the Hongkong police.
The case is proceeding.
