Tsang Fook & Co., plano manufacturers, it is learned, purchased the land in Quarry Bay, the area of which was shown on the plan, attached to the particulars and conditions. of sale as 10,400 square feet. The upset price was at $1 per squaro foot and there was no competi tion In the bidding. The pur- chaser was required to spend $10,000 on the alte within two ybars.

The site is on the Shaukiwan Rond, about a hundred and fifty yarda cast of Ming Yuen Gardens. An area of 8,625 square feet at Kowloon City, near the Princo Edward Road, was knocked down to a Chinese syndicate for $13,- 000. The upset price was 788 and after two bide the com- petition stopppd.
