The second annual Garden Fete in aid of Church funds was held by the St. Peter's Young Men's Club on Saturday evening in the grounds of the Sallors' Home at West Point, by kind permission of Captain F. Baylis, Superintendent of the Home. „

Dean Swann, President of St. Peter's Clab and one of the patrons of the Chib, and the Rev. N. V. Halward, Chairman of the Club and Garden Fete Committee. Details of Boy Scouts and Sea Scouts provided a guard of honour. In welcoming Mrs. Kotewall to the Fete, the Dean sald the func- tion was held to raise funds for St. Peter's Church, with one of its principal aims the building in the not very far future of a new Church in a more suitable locality than the noisy quarter in which the Church was now situated..
