A comedy. of errors marked the arrival of Prince George here to day to embark in the Canadian Pacific liner Empress of Australia for Canada to join his vessel, H.M.S. Durban, at Vancouver, He was expected to arrive at the docks by pinnace from H.M.S. Rodney, guardship to the Royal Yacht at Cowes..
The Prince, however, in a browa suit and bowler hat, landed at the Royal Pler and drove to the docks, where he was promptly stopped by a policeman. Having stated who he was, Prince George made for the gangway, of the liner only to be again stopped by the outstretched arm of a Master-at- Arms, who Informed him that no- body was allowed on board with out a permit. The Prince search- ed his pockets for his ticket, but before this was found the Muster- at-Arms was satisfied of his iden tity, and the traveller was allow ed on board. Here he was re- ceived by the Commander, Cap- tain Latta, and escorated to his cabin, which he did not leave until the vessel sailed,
