At the conclusion of the case, action was taken against Loo Liang-noo, who was said to have received a silver cigaretto caso from Wong in consideration of $19.. The accused, who manages a silver-smith's shop at 7 Honan Read, denied that he knew of the other's methods of livelihood or that the accepted the case knowing it was stolen.
