COURTS DECREE AGAINST MR. V. K. M GATTIE. Lord Merrivale, in the Divorce Court recently, concluded the hear- ing of the suit in which Mr. Vernon

present living in a West End hotel, sought a decree nini dissolving his marriage with his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Mary Leach, of King's avenue, Ealing, because of 'her al- leged adultery with Mr. Gattic.
His Lordship having reviewed the evidence, said that there would be a deeree nisi with costs against Mr. Gattie,
Mr. Leach know of the early adultery and condoned it.
Mr. Leach alleged that the mis- conduct did not cease In 1916, and he asserted that a guilty associa tion had continued until 1927.
This was denied by both Mrs. Leach and Mr. Gattic.
Both Mrs, Lench and Mr. Gattle also gavo evidence denying the charge.
Giving judgment, Lord Merrivalo Baid that when the parties were married there was a difference of 10 years in age between them, Mr. Leach bein- 29 and his wifo-20. What was alleged was that for a period from 1914 until shortly be Tore last July, an adulterous rela- tionship had existed between Mrs. Leach and Mr. Galtic,
