HOW TO PREVENT WRINKLES.

A woman can, keep her face free from lines and wrinkles until most any age if she remembers to keep the skin in a good condition by a few common-sense rules.

YOKE EFFECTS.

A NEW IDEA.

A charming idea for re- juvenating your last season'a goen, by the addition of a large collar and a rash belt and buckle, as illustrated,

THE NEW COLLAR.

FOR YOUR LAST YEAR'S GOWN.

An old dress can be made to look quite rhic and smart again by the addition" of one of the new large collars. They have a quaint old- world look about them, but many of the newest dresses are modelled on these lines. Such a collar may be made of lace, or georgette the colour of the gown, and if you add to this un effective posy on the shoulder-very fashionable at the moment, as you know-and a soft sash belt with a buckle, as shewn above, you will find that your last year's gown is completely rejuven- ated. Two Yokes Instead of One! Pictured to-day is. a little suit that makes doubly of its. yoke. The material novelty of the soft is homespuns, in browns that express nature itself, with one dash of deep woodland green. The blouse, with its unusual neckline that forms a fat jabot, is of silk, in the wood- Innd green.

The skirt has a fitted yoke that dips to points on each hip. To further emphasize this yoke, the deep box pleats in front are stitch- led down for four inches, in line with the yoke. The, back is plain from the yoke down.

The jacket of this suit is, bolero, i with its edges dipping to points, 100, and it is fastened in front with tricky little buckles. The tendency to use boleros with hip yokes Is very now and is important because they bring the hip yokes into pro- minente as hip length coats never could.

Sparkling Brilliants. Gorgeously rich and graceful is the third gown to-day which 'merely simulates the hip-yoke as a ges- lure to fashion. Nile green and silver brocade fashions this gown royally, with rippling strands of brilliants flowing from the centre big buckle of brilliants.

Five such strands of brilliants outline a tight hip-line while ns. many more fall from the centre front to simulate drapes. The ever, flared hem-line furthers the illusion of much "fullness in this charming gown.

Both the front and the rear of the neck are modestly decollette.

All three of these frocks are fashioned for the woman of slender or medium proportions. But just because a woman has ample ling she need feel no compunction about wanting a yoke dress. Sometimes
