A Somerest House expert in a case at Manchester in which six- men were charged with forging, manufacturing and uttering false £1 notes, stated that on the spurious notes the flag was lying on the tower of the Houses of Parliament. In the genuine notes there is no flag. Also the word "Majesty's" was printed "Majesty's." The men

were sent for trial.
