You joined the clerical branch of the Hongkong Civil Service in May. 1890, and have completed thirty- seven years service, or more than twice the qualificatory period, and you are still on the active list as Superintendent of the Money Or- der Office at the Hongkong General Post Office. In recognition, of your long, faithful and efficicnt service His Majesty the King"has appointed you to be a Companion of the Imperial Service Order and it. gives me much pleasure to in- vest you now with the badge of the Order.
