Mr. Livingston placed the mat- ter in the hands of solicitors, who wrote to the London offices of the music-publishing firm, claiming on his behalf the £10,000 reward, and sending in support of the claim a photograph of the banana and the architects' diagram.
Disqualified.
The reply of the publishing firm will provide a surprise for Mr. Livingston, for they have informed the solicitors that the reward is subject to 19 conditions. The first
