The Singapore Coroner, Colonel Hope Falkner, last week held, an Inquest touching the death of a Cantonese motor-bus driver who according to the evidence of the decensad's employer, collapsed. suddenly while they were seated at a food stall off Tanjong Pagar Road on August. 4.
Lang Low Tin, said he had en- gaged the deceased man's services on the morning of August 4. How ever, he had known him for about 2 year. The deceased 'fell from his stool while they were having their meal, and struck his head on the ground.
The medical evidence was to the effect that the deceased was brought to the General Hospital suffering from severe injuries, and died as the result of a frac ture of the base of the skull and subdural haemorrhage.
