She has found that child- ren with enlarged thymus glands not infrequently were subject to sudden death, but this was. not directly related to an enlarged thymua. It seemed to her that the weight of the thymus was quite definitely correlated with body weight in general, including that of the lymph glands and other lymphoid tissue.
