A SUPER PLANE-The "Condor," Uncle Sam's first dreadnaught of the skies, here photographed upon its initial test flight by Army pilots at Mitchel Field, Long Island. Armed with six machine guns (arrows) and designed to carry two tons of high ex- plosivo bombs and a crew of five, it is by far the most formidable war aeroplane yet con- structed. It weighs 16,350 pounds fully loaded, and is driven by two 600 horse-power motors which give it un 800-mile cruisine ruins at 100-miles an hour. A good idea of
its 90-foot wingspread and of its 47-foot length is afforded by these two views
