Details of the shooting of General Caballa show that Captain Richards, in order to remonstrate with Osbulla, ontered a house in which he had" gono after terrorising the town, in 23 Wild West fashion, A 11threatened Captain Richards with a machete and the General sprang P.W.D. L. Pts.from a bod for his revolver.

Captain Richards, in self-defence, 10 shot the General and then, to anve his own life, was obliged to shoot the woman, instantaneously killing both.
